High grip (sport) compound for aggressive street riders. Bridgestone uses a silica compound for improved wet and dry grip. The Dual Aligned Compound (DAC) increases wear resistance in center tread for higher mileage, and the Comprehensive Tire Design Method improves lateral stiffness, contact patch, linear handling, and cornering performance. The rear tire has a Mono-spiral Kevlar belt construction for shock absorption and high speed stability.
